Full Moon in Virgo- Surrender
Today mark's the Full Moon in the Earthy sign of Virgo, only a few days prior to the Spring Equinox which is also the start of a new astrological year- as Aries season also begins the same day Sunday 20th March.
It's been in a hard but interesting time both on a personal level and a global level. Obviously we have the war in Ukraine going on currently, and although it's not in the news so much now, I and a lot of people I know have all been catching a rather nasty strain of Covid.
I caught Covid around the time of the New Moon in Pisces, I didn't know it that day but I was feeling unwell, I'd tested negative but a few days later as it turned out I was positive which much more sense. I get colds and stuff like that but I had been feeling far too ill for it just to be a cold. I had all the flu type symptoms- a fever, sleeping a lot etc.
I basically lost most of the month of March as I was just too ill to function. Only a few days prior to feeling ill, I was feeling happy, movitated and ready to take on the world!
I no longer have Covid since about a week ago now but it has left me more fatigued than I was before, and still with a nasty cough, so I haven't been able to go fully back to my usual routines- my early morning yoga got stopped, and I was starting to arrange in person workshops and I've had to cancel both of them now. I was put in a positiion of no choice.
Now I'm starting to feel this is some sort of surrendering period, which looking at the astrology at the moment makes a lot of sense. Virgo is all about routines and organisation. As it's a full moon it's about releasing the routines that no longer serve you. So it seems time for me to consider that and hopefully be reborn like a phoenix over the spring equinox.
I wonder if you have had similar situations over this period of surrender in preparation for change/rebirth?
